I don't know of any support groups around either. That's what your FRG is supposed to be for...if you have one! BUT... I to am here alone, my husband works for the Army Reserve Center and just got deployed with a unit out of FT Wayne. If you need to chat... trust me, i know what you're going through. We have a 4 year old and a 5 month old with no family in the area. Let me know what you need to vent or what you need...

There is a great support group. It is this Thursday night at the Vet Center. You can call Jack Webber at the Vet Center. This group is awesome. I actually attend, and couldn't make it through with out going; There are people in the same situation as you are. It is confidental, so you don't have to worry about what is said in group. What ever is said in the group stays in the room.

If you have any questions let me know. Hope to see you there.

Good luck.
I also have a loved one who has been deployed again. It can be stressfull. I would like to invite you to a group that Jack Weber has it is Thursday at 630pm at the Vet Center on Weinbach Ave.

It is a confidental group setting were you are allowed to talk about the everyday stress of being a military wife and mom.

It is hard to be both the mother and father for your young one. Also you have to take care of all the household duties. Then you have to take care of yourself.

I totally understand what you are going thru. The last deployment I went thru my children were 8months and 5years old. It was a very trying time on me.

How ever I found Jack Weber and this group it has helped me out sooo much. Please come to the meeting this thursday at 630pm or cantact Jack Weber. You can always write me but I think you may need a place where you can focus on you for about an hour or so.

I just heard that Friday is Military wives appreciation day and just wanted to say "thanks" to all of you who so graciously stand by while your husbands are out defending our freedom. I admire all of you for the difficult and sometime thankless job you do, filling both roles of mom and dad. I pray for your husband's safe return and your families strength until that time. Thank you again and God bless!

that sounds awesome that there is a support group, however, my daughter has karate then and obviously like most military mover families, i really have no sitters. But i'd love to go sometime? maybe we'll see.
