I would maybe think about investing in a picture printer. I got one for $90 at Best Buyin May and all I have to do now if buy the paper and it's not very expensive. I save more money just buying the picture paper than actually getting them printed somewhere.

I used to use Imagestation (sony's website) but they went out last year. So needless to say from last Halloween on I have not printed a single thing. Which now is daunting because I know it is going to cost me a fortune when I do go to print.

Shutterfly runs some pretty good deals - and then every so often Walgreens & CVS will run their prints for 10 cents. I kept telling myself I needed to get over there but for some reason or another I just haven't. I think part of it is because it will be so daunting to make several dvd's to take in there and print, not to mention the cost.

Snapfish runs some pretty good deals too. As well as kodak.

Over at gottadeal.com they have a thread just on photo specials - I always check it out but since all my photos are uploaded to shutterfly it seems like such a pain to have to reload them.

My new years goal is to get started on printing. LOL (but it was that last year too....)

I usually send my prints to Wal-mart. I have never shopped around, so I don't know if it's a good deal or not! But shoot, I am always headed out to Wal-Mart for SOMETHING.

I use to print them at home, but it really is expensive when you replace the ink cartridges. My printer does not take refillable ones and they are about $25-30 per color. I am on Snapfish email and Walgreen's. When they have specials, I know about it. I select my pictures and have them printed. Walgreen's you pick up locally so no shipping. I watch for penny prints and 1/2 price. I use the 1/2 price for my larger 5x7 and 8x10's I want. I usually am not current with my pictures, because it takes me a while to get them printed and I figure there is no rush because it takes me so long to scrapbook them.

I just finally got all the Disney trip into an album. I have to still journal, but I thought that it was good for the girls to at least get to see the picrtures from September of 2007!!!!

We have a sony printer at home; but when we have a lot we go to Wal-mart, they are only 10 cents a print and you can get them in an hour. We would do the pictures and by the time we are done shopping the pictures are done. I am not sure about the Evansville Wal-mart.......I go to Boonville Wal-mart; but I think they all do the same things.

I have purchased prints from snapfish.com. They actually turned out pretty good...I was surprised. I also print them off at CVS at their do-it-yourself machines.

It is nice to have the printer at home if you are needing one or two, but not for 100's. I have a lot of photo paper that I will probably sell that is unopened because we don't print at home anymore.

My printer is good, but the quality of the professional printers is so much different.

Good luck in whatever you choose.

Do you use a local store? Do you use a site online? What are you paying?

I normally use winkflash.com but when I first started using them....it wass 99cents for shipping!!! No matter if you printed off 1 print or 100 prints. Now they have changed, and I just ordered 380 pictures....shipping was $16 dollars!!! :( The actual print per picture wasn't bad at all (6 cents each)...but they got me on the shipping!!! So now, I'm on the lookout for a better deal!!! If you have a better deal...I would love to hear who are you using to print off your pictures? Do you think I can find anyone cheaper?
