Can anyone give me a suggestion for going out for lunch/dinner on Mother's Day? I want somewhere nice.
My boys suggested Chuck E. Cheese, lol. I think not.

The New Harmony Inn is very nice. they have a nice buffett and it has always been pleasant to walk down the streets afterwards. The roofless church isn't far from the inn.
You will definately need a reservation here as well!

Places book up VERY fast. If you are lucky enough to find a place that takes reservations they are probably close to being full. We have done Wolfs BBQ, Logans, VFW, Old Mill, and Jacobs Pub (now closed but there is something new in its place). Wolfs has a VERY nice set up for special occasions like Mothers Day. Or at least they did last year! Good Luck. Not sure what we are dong this year!

I agree with trying to get a reservation!
Outback, Western Rib Eye, Red Lobster or Cork 'n Cleaver....sometimes they offer call ahead, but I don't know if they do for big occasions like Mother's Day or not?
Or how bout a little car ride over to Moonlite BBQ in Owensboro! yummo!!! lol

Cork and Clever or Western Ribeye would be my suggestion since they take reservations.

not quite as nice, but Flying J in Haubstadt offers a buffet, I work there and I know we are always busy on holidays like this.
