My daughter is 4 weeks old and I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to transition from bassinet to crib? She sleeps in her bassinet at night and I would like to get her to start sleepinng in her crib instead. I am afraid I wont hear her throughout the night (even though I use the baby monitor) however, I know she needs to be in her crib. She is getting too long for the bassinet. Any suggestions?

maybe start with nap time in the crib just to see how she does then go for night time.
as far as not hearing her, you might be suprised. i am a VERY sound sleeper. my mom used to say a tornado could come through my bedroom and i wouldnt wake up to it, but if my kids so much as moan a little i am in their room before my eyes open i think. lol. i always kept the monitor right next to my bed when they were babies.
hope this helps a little and good luck!

I never used a bassinet with my son< i just started him out in his crib. I wouldn't think it would be that much different though. Maybe the first couple nights but then I would think she would get used to the feel and the smell. Especially b/c she is so young.

Nap time is a great way to get her comfy in the crib!
I'm sure she will do fine! (you will too ;) )
